While there is still atleast 6 months for RTM of LINQ 1.0, Erik Meijer - the founder of LINQ has already started talking LINQ 2.0.
The two main improvements he talks about bringing in LINQ 2.0 are :
- Improving the mapping capabilities in O/R space through programming with focus on composition like the one which relational views provide.
- Capabilities for development independent of device and architecture, which he calls as "Democratizing the Cloud"
